Mountain Learning Place
     Summer 2010  Eco-Learning Experiences
     
A new and unique learning  place for children living in or visiting Summit County, ages 7-13, who like to learn by doing hands-on nature projects.

The Mountain Learning Place invites kids who are naturally:         

• active,interested learners
• curious about the Rocky Mountain environment
• like eco-earth science, reading, language arts, creative projects
• like asking questions and investigating
• are thinkers and doers
• want to read and write about interesting ideas

 The Mountain Learning Place has weekly tutoring sessions building thinking skills and mentoring with creative, hands-on, daily language arts and science acticvities. 


The Mountain Learning Place is for parents  who want their kids to have fun learning by building critical reading and thinking skills, while learning in a safe professional environment.


The Mountain Learning Place provides small group learning and private tutoring for kids who are excited about  nature projects, building literacy and writing skills through daily adventures. Active learning is fun.

Mountain Learning Place  offers private tutoring, available in 90-120 minute sessions. Please arrange times with the director. 

• Parents are responsible for transportation
• Lunch, a snack, and drinks are provided
• Your child may bring an extra water bottle
• Your child may prefer to bring a brown bag lunch
